EOI to join RSA’s Education Advisory and Scientific Committees
We are excited to announce two new opportunities to contribute to the RSA’s strategic initiatives: the Education Advisory Committee (EAC) and the Scientific Committee (SC).
1. Education Advisory Committee (EAC)
The EAC will assist our Events and Education team in achieving its strategic goal of member-focused education. This includes reviewing and recommending improvements for online education, live webinars, and face-to-face events (the educational calendar), supporting alignment with sponsorship and member profiles and contributing to the RSA conference.
This committee will be comprised of 8-12 members from various jurisdictions and professional backgrounds, one RSA Board Director and a representative from the RSA educators SIG.
This committee will meet virtually at least four times a year.

2. Scientific Committee (SC)
The SC will oversee and develop RSA’s research portfolio, ensuring alignment with our core values and strategic goals. The committee will shape the research agenda, create research proposals, and oversee research projects, purse research funding, reviewing scientific proposals and evaluating conference abstracts and supervising RSA research initiatives and contributing to evidence-based resources.
This committee will be comprised of 9 members including; two clinicians (one of which will be a member from the Education Committee), two senior academics with research experience, two early/mid-career researchers, conference committee chair/scientific committee chair and ex-officio representation by RSA President/Vice President or other Board Director.
